Ockam suggested "The Kumquat Kollective." I like the Cartel and Posse as well. I may have to jump online and get the word out about the last few open spots in guild. Will do so later and transferring my toon over tonight.

Quick note: Xyer, you might want to change the listed time in the subject to 9AM-12PM to reflect server time. And on that topic, if others are up for it, I would love to start 30 minutes early and end 30 minutes late to get in a little more time each week (my vote).

So what's the plan tomorrow? I was thinking, as much as I want to start progressing again, it would be a good idea for us to start off the new team by running content we know we can clear. That way, we can get a feel for each other as team members before we throw ourselves into a wipefest. Perhaps try to clear MSV Saturday, then once we get caught up, focus strictly on progression for a couple weeks.

What do you guys think?

XYER HAS ARRIVED IN THE AERIE PEAK! He's in CtR 3, we'll get that sorted out later so that we're all in the same guild.

Occam - Alright, I'll change the listed time to reflect server time. I'd hear people out about starting 30 minutes earlier, but I don't know about ending 30 minutes later, wife is on edge a little sometimes as it is.

I agree about running easier content tomorrow, I was thinking the same thing. A "getting to know you" run.

And good news everyone, Rockhound has decided to join us on his Druid after all so only one heal spot left open!

See you tomorrow morning!

I think MV is a good place to test people out. We can work on progression when we have everyone settled.
I'll be on about an hour before raid, so if we want to start earlier I'm okay with that.
Tomorrow shall be fun! See you all then!

Good thing to remember, bring flasks, potions, and food. Repair BEFORE we start. And if you don't know the fights, look them up and do an LFR to get you atleast familiar with the fight.
Let's start this group off with a Bang!

Raid Experience:

Not too much... However I'm very eager to learn and will watch videos or whatever it takes to succeed!

What are your raiding goals for this expansion?

To learn as much as I can about the game... I've been playing for years but never developed a character so I'm finally enjoying the priest and I hope to stick with her.

What makes a raiding group especially good for you?

A patient and understanding group that keeps it light and fun but serious when needed.

What factors lead to a less successful raiding experience for you?

Disorganization and easily volatile players. Anyone that gets upset easily because of mistakes made.

Personal

Work, however I rarely work weekends. I can give notice if I do need to.

Tell us something interesting or fun about yourself.

Huge fan of Doctor Who... so a lot of my toons will be named after my favorite characters from the show. I've also got a dog named Norah and she is probably the coolest dog ever!

Anything else you want to add?

Thanks for looking at my application and if you don't choose me hopefully I'll get more experience under my belt and in the future I will be able to raid w/ you!

Hey Guys, great job today for a first run I think. We full cleared MSV in ~3 hours with 4 pugs, and 6 people who've never raided together. On top of that, 2 people hadn't even attempted Elegon before, ever, and we downed him on our second try! Add to this that several people still had some blue gear and I'd say that the future looks pretty bright.

I even had a good time doing it :)

But lets not get cocky, Garalon, and even Blade Lord can really put the smack down if you aren't near perfect on mechanics. So there is a lot more work to be done. Please watch videos and read strats if you aren't familiar with them.

See you tomorrow morning and please everyone (including me) be better prepared with flasks, potions, and repairs.

Xyer
